Cosway and ADCAS Lifescience Sdn Bhd once again joined hands to organise a blood donation event themed “Be A Hero” at Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia, Kem Perdana Sungai Besi on 30^th November 2019. The campaign was huge success with a total of 594 heroes turning up to do their part!

 

 

The event got off to a roaring start as army cadets welcomed the esteemed guests and entourage with a war dance.Dr Alice Lee, Cosway’s CEO, officiated the blood donation campaign together with Brigadier General Dato’ Haji Saharuddin bin Mansor, Commandant Akademi Latihan Ketenteraan and Dr Tun Maizura Mohd Fathullah, Deputy Director 1.

 

 

 

Many exciting activities were held including free health checkups by ADCAS, sales booths selling a myriad of products, and food trucks selling food.

 

 

Entertaining singing performances were belted by Cosway staff and the cadets as the heroes dutifully took turns to give blood.

 

 

 

Dr Alice and Puan Hajjah Mariah Binti Jantan, Pengerusi PerSoNa Wilayah Persekutuan handed out goodie bags to the underprivileged students and families. Over 120 lucky draw prizes were also given away, with Encik Nazreen bin Latiff snatching the lucky draw’s grand prize!

It is our sincere wish that more blood donation drives can be organised to boost the blood bank supply nationwide. A big thank-you goes out to everyone for playing a big part in the virtuous deed!
