Baobab oil is a rich source of vitamins and omega oils, which are highly nourishing to the skin and hair. This oil is sourced from the Baobab trees found in a forgotten part of South Africa, where the Bavenda tribe lives with no agriculture and no development.. For the Bavenda, Baobab is literally the Tree of Life. They depend completely on the trees to meet their daily needs, including food, medicine and even shelter. By using this Community Fair Trade ingredient in our products, the Bavenda community who would otherwise be unemployed is provided with a secure livelihood.
